  • 2003
    Foundation of the company by 4 start-up members with executive backgrounds in projecting, sales, design and production of industrial furnaces
  • 2004
    First purchase orders received for furnaces with Jet Heating (BSN's objective: to establish this technology in the market)
  • 2005
    Strategic partnership with Otto Junker/Simmerath; receipt of a contract for 3 large continuous furnaces with Jet Heating technology from the global leader in aluminium forgings; company moved into BSN headquarters building
  • 2007
    Delivery of a newly developed furnace concept to a renowned supplier of aluminium die-cast parts (multi-deck rotary hearth furnaces)
  • 2009
    First purchase orders for furnace lines with Jet Heating for Daimler's new aluminium forging plants; recruitment of experienced furnace production personnel (until 2010, sales and engineering)
  • 2010
    Development of a new furnace concept for ‘press hardening’ and delivery of a furnace system featuring BSN's special indexing conveyor (patents pending)
  • 2012
    Receipt of further orders for the furnace concept with BSN's special indexing conveyor from voestalpine, a leading European steelmaker
  • 2013
    Signature of a licensing agreement with Aichelin relating to production and global sales of the furnace concept with BSN's special indexing conveyor
  • 2014
    Delivery of the first large-volume continuous furnace system for structural aluminium parts to a globally active automotive industry supplier
  • 2015
    Receipt of a purchase order for 3 additional furnace systems with BSN's special indexing conveyor – equipment that provides ideal handling properties for hydroforming tubular sections
  • 2017
    Installation of a new heating technology for press hardening at a very large and renowned car manufacturer's site
  • 2018
    Development of a space-saving furnace design for fast heating of high-strength aluminium alloy sheets intended for use in auto bodies
